Based on the West Coast of the South Island, our superior milk is derived from nutrient rich dairy farms which receive an abundant annual amount of rainfall, more than any other region in New Zealand.

We have come a long way since our origin more than 70 years ago. Our state of the art facilities, talented pool of people and dedicated farmers guarantee quality product and surety of supply. Our research and development teams are the forefront of innovation, creating the future of dairy based products one step ahead of international market trends.

Our customers include international, regional and local brand leaders across many food application areas. We recognise our customers are operating in a fast moving consumer market and make it a priority to turn their individual needs into viable commercial solutions.

Our more than 330 dairy farmer shareholders are committed to the supply of the highest quality milk product to our international customer base. We have a diverse range of products with a unique value proposition in the health and wellness industry, including sports nutritional products and products designed for specialist dietary needs. We do this whilst maintaining strict and internationally recognised quality standards.

Going forward, our strategic focus is to continue to build on the mutual value we have created with our customers and strengthen the long-term sustainability of our business. We will do this while maintaining Westland’s core values of unity, dedication, respect and loyalty.
